COMMITTEES

All committees are appointed by the Board of Directors and each member of a committee must be a member of the corporation. The Chairman of each committee is elected by the members of that committee in November of each year.

• Nominating Committee: The purpose of this committee is to identify potential nominees for the Board of Directors and Officers of The Stonewall Community Association. Two (2) Board of Director seats will automatically become vacant annually, and each of the Association Officers is scheduled for election on an annual basis.
  

• Newsletter/Print Shop Committee: The purpose of this committee is to print materials for the association. The newsletter is published on a quarterly basis.
  

• Beautification Committee: The purpose of this committee is to coordinate projects that will enhance the overall physical appearance of properties within the Stonewall Community. Examples are clean-up campaigns, home improvement tips, seasonal decorations, lawn beautification, sweat equity, projects, etc.

• Membership Committee: The purpose of this committee is to promote, maintain, and increase membership in The Stonewall Community Association.

The committee is responsible for the ongoing marketing of the Association to Stonewall residents and property owners. Developing and maintaining a

current directory of Stonewall residents and property owners. Maintaining up-to-date membership records and collecting membership dues.

• Hospitality Committee: The purpose of this committee is to provide support to the residents of the Stonewall Community under the following guidelines:

Planning the social events of the Association; Providing new residents of the community with a welcome from the Association that includes information

about the neighborhood and surrounding area. Extending the appropriate support on behalf of the Association to residents of the community.

• Youth Committee: The purpose of this committee is to develop programs and activities for the Youth with the intent of providing constructive, educational, and/or recreational activities, with a focus on the development of good character, leadership, and self-esteem.
